About Pacson - Corporate Missions & Values

The values we embrace to achieve our mission are encapsulated in six key words.

Our Story

Pacson Valves started trading in 1992 from the company’s original premises in Carnoustie, Scotland; a small east coast town more famous for its world championship golf course than for valve manufacture. However, the area from Arbroath to Dundee had a long history of high precision engineering so proved to be a very good location for Pacson to find the skills necessary to make valves. When the company first started, the product range was focussed on only small bore, high pressure valves for the oil and gas industry.  These products found success in the upstream and subsea sectors of the global oil and gas market, which allowed Pacson to grow and expand its product range through the 1990s and early 2000s.

By 2008 Pacson’s range had increased to include a wider range of valve types plus increased size and pressure ranges offered, which meant we had also outgrown our factory in Carnoustie.  A factory move was necessary, so we took the opportunity to relocate to a site with better access from Aberdeen and Edinburgh. The new factory was located in Dundee, just off the main arterial route from Aberdeen to Edinburgh, giving improved access from either direction.

The move to a new factory in Dundee allowed Pacson to invest in modern manufacturing technology and systems to ensure we remained competitive in the fast-moving oil and gas industry. Since 2008, in addition to our continuous investment in technology and equipment, we have also continued our product development, adding further products to our portfolio while also achieving industry approvals on all our existing products.

Today, Pacson still operates from our Dundee factory, servicing our global client base. We are committed to continuous development of our business and products to meet the future demands and expectations of our customers.
